Taking Them Out, with smaller dogs I recommend a harness more than a collar because since they are smaller if they pull they could damage their neck. With bigger dogs you can be more flexible and do what you want.
Training, When it comes to training puppies it can be a little slow at first but when they get the hang of it, it will get better. What I normally do first when I get a new puppy is get it used to its kennel. While doing that I teach them where it is and isn’t good to go to the bathroom by anyway I seem fit. After that I get them used to commands like come here or stay after that you should be all set.
